Ok ... so I decided to take polo seriously today. I was at RCBPC clubhouse the other day and looked up at my grandfather's trophy board and for the first time, felt I could 'do this' ... I know I have a long road ahead but if I win that trophy ... it means that I get to shake my grandfather's hand. Its gotta be worth a shot!
Had great fun riding off my groom Holly this weekend. I think she got the hang of it :-)
Oh Dear! Oh Dear!
Played with Charlotte Sweeney (2) and Rosie Ross (3) through to the finals in the 4 goal for 5 teams , battling it out at Ash Farm's Mid Season Trophy. Pipped at the end by some exceptional play by 4 goaler James Mann playing for Twelve Oaks. Great pros coaching me throughout my first 4 goal. I could have not done it without you ladies. Some stellar umpiring by Tarquin Southwell.

It all goes to show there are no certainties in polo ... We were good, but definitely the underdogs. Thanks to the talent of our captain Mack McCaffrey and the team, we were able to put all efforts into winning the Cooper Cup. Exceptional run down and leadership from Mack.
Thanks to Jessica Tomlin for putting me into this amazing team last minute. First tournament and I had no clue what to expect... but we won! Great result thanks to George and the team.
Am absolutely lovin' seeing my old buddies at RCBPC. Thanks to Chris B and Cool Hooves for organising it. The kids love it and its gets us all back in the game!
I never thought I would love grass so much!
